L3akCTF 2025

8th place Team: ARESx

Despite not winning any prizes, 8th place out of 1587!! in one of the most competitive international CTFs is very commandable, especially since we weren’t that far off from the top positions. I was also the top fragger in the team with 2013 points, not too shabby.

What’s disappointing though is that I didn’t solve all crypto puzzle as I had hoped, leaving two unsolved :( But after reading the solutions for those two challenges, I’m gald I hadn’t sunk more time into them because there ain’t no way I can remotely think for a solution by myself for them 😭 yet >:)
I gotta learn more cyptanalysis techniques tho.

Overall, it was a really fun one. Props to the L3AK team for all the fun challenges!

R3CTF 2025 🥇

1st place Team: Friendly Maltese Citizens

I’ve just been recruited to play alongside AresX which is part of the merger that makes up FMC, so I was hella nervous that I wouldn’t be able to prove myself, especially since this is one of the biggest international teams.

My perfomance wasn’t groudbreaking, but I managed to solve one challenge on my own and contributed to solving a couple of other ones. Learned a TOOOOOON from the best crypto palyers (and mathematicians) in the world

SheSecuredCTF 🥇

1st place. Team: FL1TZ

Pretty tame all things considered. It also holds the record for the shortest CTF ever at a whopping 3 entire hours xd

CyberTek 2025

4th place Team: FL1TZ

Very high octane overnight ctf. Could’ve done better, but I’m happy with our performance, especially considering that all the top teams in the country participated.

CTF 101: Authored

We partnered with Faculté des Sciences de Tunis FST to make a 2 day bootcamp meant to introduce the university’s student to cybersecurity.

Along with the cryptography workshop that I directed, we hosted a mini beginner friendly CTF for the newcomers. Pretty fun, and I met some cool people in the process!

A much awaited competition that we ended up totally blowing xd. Nonetheless, a pretty big step up from the 35th place we got last year 💀

FL1TZ Mini CTF: Authored

We’ve been playing CTFs for a couple of years, so why not make one? And we did!

It’s been an awesome experience, and seeing people go out of their way to attend the ctf locally in uni was just amazing! Did 5 of my challenges remain unsolved? yes but at least they learned something afterwards. The source code and writeups for the challenges I wrote are available here.

Plus I made a cool ass trailer for it 😎

Despite not having prizes, it’s been one of the most fun CTFs I’ve ever played!

Pretty dorment year for the most part. I played a couple of CTFs but didn’t do anything that impressive, mostlu ranking around 15~30. I was focused on other stuff during this period too (I forgot what tbh)
